STEAMED CORN ON THE COB
INGREDIENTS:
Fresh or frozen corn on the cob, whole or mini-ears
Water
Sea Salt (to taste)
Butter
Using a medium size steamer pasta pot on high heat, add one quart of water
and place corn on the cob in the upper steamer basket and bring to a rolling
boil and reduce heat to medium-low and steam for about 10 to 20 minutes
until corn is tender. Remove corn from steamer basket and salt to taste and
butter to taste.

NOTE: Steamed corn on the cob to me has more of the natural
corn flavor than the boiled method which stands to reason; you are boiling
all your nutrients out of the corn! The above mini corn on the cob
after steaming looks beautimous! See my
pots n pans short story about my
favorite pots n pans which gives the details of the above multi-purpose
pasta pot.
