MOSTELLER ONE POT DINNER
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground beef or chuck (you can substitute ground venison if you desire)
1 lb. bacon
1 cup chopped onion
2 (1 lb.) cans pork & beans
1 can red kidney beans (drained) 15 oz.
1 can lima beans (drained) 15 oz.
1 cup catsup
1/8 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon back pepper
Brown ground beef and onions. Cook bacon until crisp. Crumble
and add to beef. Pour beef, onions and bacon into crock pot. Add
beans, brown sugar, catsup, liquid smoke, vinegar, salt and pepper.
Mix well. Cook 4 to 9 hours starting out on High temperature setting
for a couple hours and change to low setting if crock pot doesn't have
auto setting.
