EASTERN BBQ SAUCE
INGREDIENTS:
1 Gallon Cider Vinegar
1 Pound Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Salt
1/4 Cup Black Pepper
1/4 Cup Crushed Red Pepper
4 Ozs. Liquid Smoke
12 Ozs. Texas Pete
Mix all ingredients and store in refrigerator. There are no doubt
millions of BBQ sauce recipes around and this one is on the hot side.
This one learns more toward the Eastern Style of BBQ sauce since it doesn't
have any ketchup in it although it does have the sugar added. This
sauce gets better with age!This recipe is from Phillip Knight, FSSII,
