EARTHQUAKE CAKE
INGREDIENTS:1 1/2 Cups pecans, chopped
1 Stick margarine, softened
1 Can (3 ozs.) coconut
1 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
1 Box German chocolate cake mix (prepare
as on pkg.)
1 Box powered sugar (1 lb.)
Grease 9 x 13 inch pan and sprinkle pecans in bottom of pan. Sprinkle
coconut over pecans. Prepare cake mix. Pour over pecans and coconut. Melt
margarine and Cream
Cheese. Add powdered sugar. Mix well. Pour mixture over cake
batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Joyce aka my "bride" baked an earthquake cake today 12-24-08 for our
Christmas lunch tomorrow and had the little digital camera close by and added

Finished earthquake cake cooling down and ready for a taste test! I guarantee you this simple cake will relieve any
"sweet tooth" that you may
have at the time! After cake cools, you will see where it got it's name
from.
